Bliss lights are followed, then abandoned.

Classifieds of Light are apocalypsed.

Night trains empty.

Masters arise.

And now the analysis:

I do not have an insider or direct source for the meanings below. This is my interpretation of the update, based on extrapolation and contextual usage of the terms. The meanings provided are not the only ones that can be gleaned; in my view, all meanings have value, especially when shared and discussed openly. Please comment below if interested, I'd love to hear other's thoughts on this material.

Interpretations "Bliss lights are followed, then abandoned." - The term bliss refers to a state of supreme joy and perfect happiness, a form of expression and reception that is transcended in nature due to the fact that one's capacity to accept in streaming data is so wide. The work of Dan Winter with the relationships between the brain and heart (hardly the only researcher in this respect) is of keen importance. When bliss is experienced, the brain and heart—measured electromagnetically via an EEG and EKG, respectively—vibrate at frequencies that form harmonics, the waveforms present mingle with each other in a synergistic way, enabling more life force energy to flow into the body vehicle. This life force is received both physically (via biology) and metaphysically (via the etheric or astral bodies—mind, and soul). The awareness of consciousness expands into the localized experience of the individual, filling any voids left by rejection in the past. As a result, bliss is a cure for trauma and disease. But in order to understand this, we must comprehend what trauma is, and what it does to the evolving soul.

Trauma is created by an individual experiencing intense physical, emotional or intellectual stimulation, in an undesirable or unwanted way. As soon as free will chooses to reject what is being experienced via reality, as a defense mechanism, the evolving soul withdraws from life at a profound and fundamental level. In psychology, this is referred to as dissociation. In addition, once we reject some aspect of experience (a fear response) negative emotional states are generated, compounding the already intense sensations that led to the reaction of trauma. The initial catalyst that caused the trauma usually fades but the emotional charge associated with it lingers, causing havoc on the mind and body. That part of our consciousness which experiences change as a result of making contact with reality is shielded to a certain extent, but the data and information within experience are still received and absorbed, along with any negative emotions produced from the trauma. The physical body, as well as the metaphysical bodies, still collect and organize this information, but without the conscious mind's organizational powers it remains as is, filled with fear, rejection, and negative emotions. The physical body literally stores this information in the hopes that after the initial intensity wares off, we'll find the courage to process what was experienced. This is where bliss comes in.

Since the primary factor in producing trauma is the rejection of reality (usually for good reasons), the solution is to accept the fullness of what was experienced—along with any secondary emotions—so as to reorganize the raw data and imbue it with a new positive feeling. Bliss is one method of producing this reconciliation effect because it is the polar opposite of trauma. Trauma states are defined by the fight or flight response, a self-defense mechanism to protect our beingness. Protection, by definition, is the act of trying to keep something the same, to maintain it as is. And because experience, by nature, is transformative, as it is an expression of truth, then trauma is the rejection of truth. Bliss, on the other hand, is not just a good feeling (purely physical or emotional), it is holistically integrated. The mind (free will), body (physiology) and spirit (emotions) are perceived, acknowledged, and accepted. One of the best examples of bliss is a sexual orgasm.

According to Al Bielek, an alleged former Montauk Project insider turned whistleblower, the early MKULTRA programs in the US, and Germany prior to the end of World War II, were researching how to reprogram the subconscious mind. Wilhelm Reich was apparently apart of this effort, although he didn't realize it was going to be later used for mind control. What they discovered is that—and this is echoed by other historical accounts of mind programming techniques as well as modern day applications of NLP and EFT—the subconscious and conscious mind essentially merge during an orgasm experience, which opens one's subconscious up for reprogramming. Wilhelm Reich was apparently using this technique to deprogram various individuals and restore balance in life. The ancient Indian practice of Tantra also describes a similar soul healing effect, wherein one's life purpose can be discovered, and past karma can be reconciled. But orgasm isn't the only way to do this. Certain Yoga techniques also draw our awareness into the body in way which can be used to reconcile past traumas. Addictions also have the tendency to start the process of healing, even though we don't normally think of them this way. Whatever is selected as the vice of choice, is a talisman for invoking a state of emotional calm and acceptance. Dan Winter has measured bliss states in those who are experiencing their addictive item of choice. So in this way, addictions are one step on the path of healing but the problem is we get stuck because they are a passive or external processes of invoking emotional equanimity, that won't provide much healing unless the conscious mind is eventually incorporated.

Simply put, when we experience an orgasm the conscious mind via free will begins to accept more and more of the physical and emotional data funneled into consciousness. Because it feels good we want more of it—in this way the body itself has a "safely switch" or "built-in mechanism" for soul healing. Since the physical body stores the memory of trauma and these memories are locked away from the conscious mind due to a program of rejection installed during a traumatic event, a blissful experience can be used—in the proper way—to reinvest our awareness back into the raw data stream of the trauma, reconciling it holistically and restoring balance to the whole being. What is happening in this process is that we are using some thing to trigger a positive state of being, one that helps us muster the courage to face something we feared in the past—the horrors of trauma in life. And as a result, in order to take advantage of blissful techniques for healing, one must incorporate the whole being, the mind, body and spirit, the intellect, emotions, and insight.

Within the context of this statement, bliss lights are followed is essentially describing that a typical reaction to a state of bliss is wanting more, an opening of consciousness and as a result a supercharging of its manifesting power. Another reason why dark and light magicians often employ sexual techniques is that the energy flowing into the body during bliss is incredibly powerful and creative. Kundalini centers activate during orgasm and bliss states as well. And like every bliss experience, eventually, they stop. We can't be blissed out forever, we can't have an orgasm forever. This is probably why the bliss lights are followed, and then abandoned.

This statement can be interpreted to mean that bliss is a source of light (true knowledge or wisdom) that guides us towards healing like a moth to the flame. But like the moth, we can't get to close for too long, else we will be burned. The Hermetic Principle of Rhythm states that all things have their season and are expressed in terms of cycles of polarized extremes. The Sun is brightest at mid day and then recedes from sight into the night. As a result, we too must our state of being be very open and receptive and then withdrawn and contemplative—not fearful. In other words, we are beings of vibration and as such, in order to harmonize with the rules of creation, the guidebook for evolution—so to speak—using bliss is only one part of the equation. Bliss allows us to change the emotional flavor of whatever we placed on an experience, transmuting fear into love, and pain into joy. This makes it possible to feel with receptivity the truth of any experience (a feminine modality of expression) but after this work of reception fades, we now have to do the masculine work of contemplation.

It is in the conscious mind were intellect analyzes what was experienced, organizing the data stream into a logical holistic structure we call knowledge. This knowledge becomes the mold with which the awareness of our consciousness fills, literally changing how we perceive and experience reality. Consider that to a child, one who doesn't understand the importance of a healthy diet, eating vegetables can be a traumatic experience. But eventually, if we are brave enough to accept what is offered and open ourselves to the fullness of it, we realize that eating vegetables can not only taste good, but feed the ecosystem of our bodies what it needs to thrive, changing the subjective experience of eating them in the process. We'll actually enjoy something after we've healed our definition of it instead of reacting out of fear, and experiencing disgust as a result.

In this way, we must not focus only on feelings and emotions (heart-centricness) but also on the intellect and meanings of the conscious mind. We reprogram our subconscious as a result of conscious contemplation (also known as philosophic exploration, the active process of seeking meanings from experience). We reorganize our being though acts of will. This statement makes no reference to who is experiencing this process. But given that it is a technique of soul healing—and the people of Earth are in dire need of this—I suggest that those who are still traumatized by life in this world are receiving the benefit of bliss and are also wise enough to abandon it when they are ready for the next phase of work.

"Classifieds of Light are apocalypsed." - The term classifieds refers to a small advertisement placed in a publication by an individual seeking something. Here, the classifieds of Light are mentioned, suggesting that some individuals are seeking wisdom and true knowledge (light). These yearnings or seekings are not hidden within the minds of those making them; they are apocalypsed or unveiled. This statement seems to be suggesting that the desires for truth, wisdom, and knowledge within humanity are plain to see. And as a result, those who have this knowledge and wisdom to give will begin to provide it. As the saying goes "when the student is ready, the teacher appears." Or, "ask and ye shall receive." Before we can receive what has been given, we must be receptive, we must be open (a feminine modality). We can't fill our cup if it is already full. In this way this statement can also be interpreted to mean that we must be humble to learn and grow. Conversely, arrogance is a state of overzealous confidence in one thing or another, a close-minded state of being wherein we think we have all the answers. And if we compare a state of trauma to arrogance there is a common thread. In both states, one who is traumatized or arrogant is not receptive or open, they have denied their truth of their incompleteness, and as such are incapable of invoking their feminine nature.

Physically, we can't receive more food if our plate is already full. Metaphysically, we can't receive the truth if we don't acknowledge the truth about ourselves which is that we are incomplete, we lack knowledge of something. This is an unpopular concept within awakening circles because it seems to be a statement of limitation and disempowerment. But the truth is, we are not all knowing and all wise, we are becoming all-knowing and will eventually be all wise. The process is perfect, but we are not perfect yet. Consider that before a musician, artist, writer, or athlete can improve their skills—so as to unlock greater potentials hidden within—they must acknowledge their incompleteness, and this need not be a negative thing. Consider that some of the most exciting experiences of life are times when we recognize incompleteness, such as the mystery of an unfolding story. We can't enjoy the bliss of discovery and wonder if we knew how a tale was going to end. As such, the act of enjoying a story is actually a recognition that we are incomplete, but also, that we are receptive to the truth so as to eventually become complete. Rejecting the truth of our incompleteness, and invoking a belief that we already are perfect, denies us the opportunity to unlock greater levels of soul attainment. For example, one who thinks only one type of food is the best will never think to try anything new, and deny themselves an opportunity in the process. In the act of recognizing our own lack of understanding, knowledge and attainment, we open our minds and hearts to the wisdom of the universe, allowing helpers and guides to answer the ads we placed in the classifieds of Light.

"Night trains empty." - A night train is a railcar that operates at night, usually used in urban settings for public transportation. And there may be some other colloquial meaning that I am not aware of. Symbolically, we can define a night train as a vehicle used by those individuals who travel through life under the cover of darkness, possibly in an effort to hide from the truth. A train usually travels along areas that provide different vantage points or points of view, and metaphorically, we can define a train as the flow of time or as a journey through space, the experience of life itself. Consider that time and space cannot be completely divorced, we cannot move through space without also moving through time. Even when standing still, according to a spherical Earth model, we are rotating quickly around the Sun, which in turn rotates about the galaxy. Taking all this into consideration, let's assume that a night train is a modality of being, the desire to travel through life avoiding vistas and the truths they contain. In other words, one who is on the night train is on the path of falseness, traumatized by life and as such fears anything that causes upheaval and leads to personal change. But once this primary fear has been healed, once we regain a love for life, we no longer want to experience it from a veil of darkness. Night trains empty can be interpreted to mean that those individuals who were too sick from personal fear and trauma to experience life are finding renewed enthusiasm, being led out of the darkness by lights of bliss. And as such, the blockages of denial, fear, and rejection that cause a blockage in the evolution of the emerging soul, are dissolved. Those who found the courage to leave the night train, are now receptive to the light of truth and experience, unlocking the potential for mastery within.

"Masters arise." - This update can be interpreted as describing a process for soul healing and the purification of trauma. Once these blockages of fear have been resolved, free will can realign itself to creation, and the creator's offer to become perfect in our spheres of life as the creator is perfect in all spheres can proceed. The relationships of the creature to the creator is that of a student to a master. But unlike earthly student-teacher relationships, because we are finite and the creator is infinite, we will never fully achieve this sublime spiritual goal. In other words, the mysteries of creation will never truly be solved. Just as we shed light on one thing, it casts a shadow over something else, leading us to pour our light of awareness into the shadows, if we are brave enough to face the unknown.

From light comes darkness, and from darkness comes the light.

This update discussed the process of how one finds the courage to do this. For many on Earth, the intensities of life on this planet have left us too fearful and traumatized to continue the search for wisdom and truth via experience. This causes soul stagnation, suffering, and boredom—to name a few symptoms. Yet by using the technique of transmutation made possible via bliss, we can realign ourselves back to the river of evolution and soul growth flowing through all things. Once we finally adjust ourselves back into alignment, the master within arises. This statement seems to be referring to this process of mastery that naturally follows receptivity to the truth. For the truth is the ultimate force of transformation in the universe. Those creatures of time and space who traverse the vistas of creation are infused with truth by way of experience, and so long as our consciousness is allowed to flow where it needs, mastery of anything we set our minds to is sure to follow. In this way, we are all geniuses in the making, each with a unique purpose. And like a symphony, when each musician finds the courage to master their craft fully, a sublime and blissful music can be created through a unity of all their allotments of mastery.

PS - In December 2014, when Julian and I were discussing the idea of sharing these updates on the blog, he encouraged me to do more than just share the raw post. He said that we could offer our insights into what they could mean and in doing so create a venue for deep discussion and consciousness exploration. There were many times I wasn't sure if others found any value in these interpretations, but Julian and others continued to urge me on in this venture. This is just one example of the countless ways he helped me in my life path, for which I am eternally grateful. I want to dedicate these interpretations to him and his memory. I will love you always Julian, and know, that your zeal for creativity and loving service of others continues on.

Note about meanings: The meanings offered are my attempt to objectify the Gaia Portal updates, to give them a scientifically supported basis in reality. However, the subjective process of reading the update personally is incredibly valuable, and meanings generated in each respect are not mutually exclusive (in conflict with each other). I suggest reading the update, like a tool for divination as if it was written specifically for you; similar to a psychic reading. Your meanings may not match what I share, but that does not mean one is more 'correct' than another. All meanings have value, depending on the context which is applied to them, all perspectives have a place within the whole of what IS, and therefore, can be part of an exploration of one's self. Our perspective is intimately connected to all others.
