Columbus Day - Celebrating the Conquest of America | The Pope and Vatican Connection, Brutality and Occult Ties of Christopher Columbus

Columbus Day is traditionally the second Monday of every October, a day of remembrance for the man who allegedly 'discovered' the Americas; but is this true?

One need not be a tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorist to recognize the historical evidence suggesting Leif Ericson; a Viking explorer most likely landed in Newfoundland half a millennia earlier. Not to mention the fact that Native Americans settled the area at least 10,000 years ago. Is it just an antiquated misnomer to say Columbus discovered the Americas, or is there a more insidious aspect of history the powers that be are secretly celebrating? The following compilation of articles seeks to answer this question.

The Roman Catholic Church, centralized by Vatican Papal bulls creating an Express Trust between the self appointed victor of god (the Pope) and all living beings in perpetuity, promoted an ecclesiastical imperial foreign policy some 600 years ago. In several papal bulls between 1300 and 1700 AD, the Vatican literally claimed all living things on the planet as property, establishing missionaries through their vassals Spain, Portugal and England to go out and claim it's property for mother church.

Related Pope 'Ruler of the World' to go after War Criminals?

In 1493, one year after Christopher Columbus allegedly discovered the Americas, Pope Alexander VI issued Inter Cetera, the 1493 papal bull that split the New World between Spain and Portugal. The shear arrogance to presume a group of elites can divide up the planet for themselves in and of itself is enough to realize our history is marred by greed and tyranny to it's core. This is in stark contrast to the near utopias, Columbus and other explorers discovered in the native tribes of America.

What followed was a series of power plays between the vassal nations who came under the influence of the clandestine Roman Catholic Church, with the victor becoming one the most powerful nations on Earth; the British Empire, in the late 17th century.

In other words, because the Vatican and Roman Pontiff are the self appointed masters and ministers of the whole planet, they had a 'duty', under the church, to find and reclaim all the 'lost followers of Christ'. Of course this was all an elaborate fraud to further the imperialist agendas of the Roman Catholic Empire. The church outsourced their conquering directives to vassal nations, Spain, Portugal and England who by way of social contracts and treaties were beholden to the Roman city-state.

The first item in this compilation is an article of historical events detailing the once secret history of the power play between these vassal nations, the Medici family connections to Christopher Columbus and more.

The second article details the brutal practices of Christopher Columbus in dealing with the native peoples he encountered in the Caribbean, as well as many other rarely spoken of historical events.

The final article is a piece discussing the occult connections of Christopher Columbus, the history and hidden ties of this historical figure.

The Vatican and it's vassals successfully conquered the world hundreds of years ago. Draconian policies continue to run rampant in modern times, but there is a growing population of awakening people rallying to make right the follies of the past as a direct result of gaining knowledge. Therefore spreading truth as far and wide as possible is one of the best techniques for changing the consciousness of complacency and ignorance that allows these crimes against humanity to go unchecked.

The Columbus Myth Exposed At Last!!
How the Spanish Inquisition Stole the New World from England!!

Portuguese Christopher Columbus
On August 3, 1492, Christopher Columbus set sail from Spain with 3 ships: the Niña, the Pinta and the Santa María. He used the maps and charts of a dead pilot named Alonso Sanchez and arrived on the island of Santo Domingo on Oct.12. Martin Alonso Pinzón, the captain of the Pinta was the first to land, followed by Vicente Yañez Pinzón, the captain of the Niña.
On Oct. 28, he proceeded to another ISLAND named Cuba. He left those ISLANDS on Jan. 2, and arrived back in Spain on March 15, 1493. He never saw or set foot on the mainland of the New World until his 3rd voyage, 6 years later on August 5, 1498.
Immediately after his discovery of some ISLANDS off the coast of the mainland, his sponsors Ferdinand and Isabella, petitioned the Pope to give them not only the ISLANDS which Columbus had discovered but the still undiscovered MAINLAND!!
By coincidence it just so happened that a Spanish Pope by the name of Rodrigo Borgia was the head of the church of Rome at that time. He drew a line from the North Pole to the South just west of Africa (Cape Verde Islands) and he gave everything WEST of that line to the Spanish. Due to complaints by the Portuguese, the line was later moved further west but Pope Alexander never approved of that change.

Pope Alexander VI gave the New World to Spain
Pope Alexander VI (Rodrigo Borgia) used a FORGED document called the Donation of Constantine as his authority for giving the New World to Spain:
"Wherefore, in order that the supreme pontificate may not deteriorate, but may rather be adorned with glory and power even more than is the dignity of an earthly rule; behold, we give over and relinquish to the aforesaid our most blessed Pontiff, Sylvester, the universal Pope, as well our palace, as has been said, as also the city of Rome, and all the provinces, places and cities of Italy and the western regions"
This Donation was a blatant counterfeit from the Dark Ages. There never was a Pope Sylvester as Roman Emperor Constantine was the first Pope.
Pope Alexander VI took time out from his busy schedule of watching bullfights by day and having orgies at night to write a BULL giving the New World to Spain and warning every other nation to keep "hands off."
"Furthermore, under penalty of excommunication late sententie to be incurred ipso facto, should anyone thus contravene, we strictly forbid all persons of whatsoever rank, even imperial and royal, or of whatsoever estate, degree, order, or condition, to dare, without your special permit or that of your aforesaid heirs and successors, to go for the purpose of trade or any other reason to the islands or mainlands, found and to be found, discovered and to be discovered, towards the west and south, by drawing and establishing a line from the Arctic pole to the Antarctic pole.... Let no one, therefore, infringe, or with rash boldness contravene, this our recommendation, exhortation, requisition, gift, grant, assignment, constitution, deputation, decree, mandate, prohibition, and will. Should anyone presume to attempt this, be it known to him that he will incur the wrath of Almighty God and of the blessed apostles Peter and Paul.
Given at Rome, at St. Peter's, in the year of the incarnation of our Lord one thousand four hundred and ninety-three, the fourth of May, and the first year of our pontificate" (Papal Bull granting the New World to Spain, May 4, 1493).
Pope Alexander VI (1492-1503), the infamous Borgia, gave the New World to Spain. He was a MONSTER of iniquity even by the standards of his day.
"There is more than one Chamber of Horrors in the Museum of History, but none like that of the Borgia. The central figure is that of Rodrigo Borgia, who as Alexander VI sat on the papal throne for eleven years; around him are grouped his mistresses; a brood of bastard children; a retinue of henchmen and an endless procession of victims. It was the darkest period in the life of Christianity, just before the dawn of the Reformation. Rome had become a sink of unspeakable corruption where, in the words of Dante, "Christ was sold every day" (Bond, In the Pillory, The Tale of the Borgia Pope, p. 9).

The King and Queen of Spain had many spies in Bristol and London notifying them of the Cabot voyages of discovery!!
The real motivation for sending Columbus was the voyages of Discovery of John Cabot:
"The fleet he (John Cabot) prepared, which consisted of five was provisioned for a year. News has come that one of these, in which sailed another Friar Buil, has made land in Ireland in a great storm with the ship badly damaged. The Genoese kept on his way. Having seen the course they are steering and the length of the voyage, I find that what they have discovered or are in search of is possessed by Your Highness because it is at the cape which fell to Your Highness by the convention with Portugal. It is hoped they will be back by September. I will let Your Highnesses know about it"(Pedro de Ayala letter from London).

Ferdinand the Catholic (1452-1516), King of Aragón.
Ferdinand and Isabella sent Alonso de Hojeda on a murderous mission to destroy the New World colony of John Cabot.
As in the case of the "Invincible" Armada, the Portuguese were partners in crime with the Spanish in the effort to stop the English exploration.

Isabella the Catholic (1451-1504), Queen of Castile and León.
Ferdinand and Isabella (Ahab and Jezebel) together made up the united kingdom of Spain. They were determined to stop the English colonization of the New World at any cost. Their daughter, Catherine of Aragon, eventually became the wife of Henry VIII. This marriage alliance would give them an excuse to maintain a large diplomatic mission as their eyes and ears at the London Court.
Having heard of the plans of the King of England to send out a new expedition, Ferdinand and Isabella sent a notorious conquistador and cold blooded murderer named Alonso de Hojeda to intercept them.

Alonso de Hojeda was licensed to kill by Ferdinand and Isabella!!

Alonso de Hojeda
Mapmaker Juan de la Cosa

Amerigo Vespucci
Ferdinand and Isabella granted Alonso de Hojada a license to kill and sent him to intercept the Cabot expedition. This was a practical demonstration of the Papal Bull of their boss, Pope Alexander VI.
"Item: that you go and follow that coast which you have discovered, which runs east and west, as it appears, because it goes toward the region where it has been learned that the English were making discoveries; and that you go setting up marks with the arms of their Majesties, or other signs that may be known, such as shall seem good to you, in order that it be known that you have discovered that land, so that you may stop the exploration of the English in that direction"(Alonso de Hojeda license to kill).
Hojeda set sail from Spain on May 20, 1499, with 4 ships. He was accompanied by mapmaker Juan de la Cosa and Amerigo Vespucci claimed to have sailed with them.
They intercepted the Cabot expedition somewhere off the coast of Venezuela. All the men were killed and their maps stolen. This was a flagrant act of war by the Pope and Spain upon a peaceful voyage of discovery
Here is a quote from a Spanish historian named Martín Fernández de Navarrete:
"It is certain that Hojeda in his first voyage (that of 1499) encountered certain Englishmen in the vicinity of Coquibaçoa" (Colección de los viages y descubriementos, vol. III, Madrid, 1829, p. 41).
The Spanish text reads:
"Lo cierto es que Hojeda en su primer viage halló á aciertos ingleses par las immediaciones de Coquibaçoa" (Martin Fernandez de Navarrete).

The famous Juan de la Cosa map.
Only John Cabot had charted the New World coastline up to that time. Here is the oldest map of the New World showing English flags all the way from Newfoundland to Florida. For 3 centuries it lay in the secret archives of the Vatican until it was carried to Paris by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1810.
The Juan de la Cosa map.

Map showing English flags on New World.
Famous map by Juan de la Cosa from the year 1500. It shows the flags of Castile and Leon in the vicinity of Cuba and the English flags covering all of the New World coastline from Florida to Canada.

The original parchment of this map or chart, a piece of ox-hide measuring 37.5 x 72 inches (96 X 183 cm), superbly illustrated in ink and water colors, was found in 1832 in a shop in Paris by Baron Walckenaer, a bibliophile and the Dutch Ambassador, and was brought to the attention of the world the following year by Alexander Humboldt, the famous German scholar. Upon the death of Baron Walckenaer in 1853 the map was purchased by the Queen of Spain, and though greatly deteriorated, is now the chief treasure of the Museo Naval in Madrid.
When Napoleon invaded Rome in 1810, a portion of the vast secret archives of the Vatican were taken to Paris for a world library that Napoleon planned to build. After his defeat, many of the documents were taken back to Rome but many were left behind. This map was one of the priceless items left behind and ended up in a Paris bookshop. (Ambrosini, The Secret Archives of the Vatican, p. 291).

How America got its name. A Vespucci sting operation!!

Amerigo Vespucci (1451-1512).
Amerigo Vespucci as a boy. This earliest known portrait shows him in front of a image of the Madonna.
Portrait and signature of Vespucci, 1508.
Vespa from which the name Vespucci is derived is the Italian word for WASP. The entire New World has received a nasty sting of venom from the waspAmerigo Vespucci.
Amerigo Vespucci (son of Nastagio Vespucci) was born into the rich money lending Vespucci family in Florence, Italy on March 9, 1451. The family was related to the rich and powerful money lending Medici banking cartel. Several of the Medici dynasty became Popes among them was the infamous Leo X who excommunicated saint Martin Luther:
"Amerigo had to cross Florence twice daily to attend a private school at the Convent of San Marco conducted by his uncle, (Dominican) Father Giorgio Antonio Vespucci. There one of his schoolmates was Pier Soderini who rose to be gonfaloniere (prime minister) of the Florentine Republic—to whom he addressed his famous Lettera. Amerigo entered the commercial house of Lorenzo di Pier Francesco de' Medici, who sent him in 1491, after twenty years' service, to Seville as head employee of a Medici affiliate, Juanoto Berardi. He was then almost forty years old. At Seville his main business was merchant banking and ship chandlery. Upon the death of Berardi in 1495, Vespucci became head of the house, and as such helped to outfit Columbus's fleet for the Third Voyage in 1498."(Morison, The European Discovery of America, vol. II, p.279).

John Cabot's Bristol paymaster was named Richard Amerike!!
Intimate details of the Cabot voyages were sent back to Spain including maps. Now it so happens that John Cabot had a paymaster named Richard Amerike. John Cabot had a habit of giving away islands to his friends:
"I have also spoken with a Burgundian, one of Messer Zoane's companions, who corroborates everything. He wants to go back, because the Admiral, which is the name they give to Messer Zoane, has given him an island. He has given another to his barber, a Genoese by birth, and both consider themselves counts, while my lord the Admiral esteems himself at least a prince" (Letter to the Duke of Milan about John Cabot's discovery of the New World).
It is certain that John Cabot wrote the name of his paymaster (Amerike) on one of the islands or perhaps on the MAINLAND ITSELF:
" . . .but with the help of the enclosed copy you (Columbus) will be able to ascertain what you wish to know, since the capes of tierra firma and the islands are therein named and you will also see there where the first landfall [primera vista] took place, because it was on the return [course] that was found the major part of the land. "(John Day's letter to Columbus).
When Verspucci saw the name Richard Amerike either on a map of the New World or among the papers of John Cabot he noticed the similarity of names. Right there and then his devilish mind began to concoct a scheme to supplant Richard Amerike and name the New World after himself.
A Catholic historian named Bartolomé de la Casas wrote about the "long premeditated plan of Vespucci to have the world acknowledge him as the discoverer of the largest part of the Indies." (de las Casas, History of the Indies, p. 95).

Amerigo Vespucci never voyaged to the New World!!
Because of the similarity of names, the Florentine fraudster saw the opportunity to steal a whole New World from the English and name it after himself. He was a usurer or moneylender by profession so stealing or reaping where others have sown was no problem for him as that was his chosen profession!!
Memorial brass of Richard Amerike's daughter Joan, in Bristol, England.
Richard Amerike was the paymaster for John Cabot!!
"Fig.25: Memorial brass of Richard Amerike's daughter Joan, and her husband John Brook, to be seen virtually alongside that of John Jay in the chancel of Bristol's St. Mary Redcliffe church. The Latin inscription reads: 'Here lies the body of that venerable man John Brook, serjeant-at-law to that most illustrious prince of happy memory King Henry VIII and Justice of Assize for the same king in the western parts of England, and chief steward of the honourable house and monastery of the Blessed Mary of Glastonbury in the County of Somerset in which John died on the 25th day of December 1522. And near him rests Joan his wife, one of the daughters and heirs of Richard Amerike, on whose souls may God have mercy, Amen." (Wilson, The Columbus Myth, p.167).
If the New World was named after Vespucci it would be named Vespuccius after his last name. At that time, commoners used their last names and royalty used their first names when naming countries. If the continent was named after Christopher Columbus it would be named COLUMBIA. . . .This is more evidence that Vespucci stole the name from Richard Amerike.

Editor's Notes
As the great Discoverer of the New World sailed down the River Avon, he would pass Brandon Hill named after the GREAT Hibernian missionary St. Brendan, who arrived on the same continent 1,000 years beforehand. A shrine was erected in his honor and sailors would pray for protection to the saint. The shrine was torn down at the time of the Reformation and sailors were admonished to pray to the God of St. Brendan . . . and not to St. Brendan . . . for protection.

Brandon Hill, named after the great Hibernian missionary St. Brendan.

Revisionist History; Christopher Columbus Never Set Foot in America

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
“For American Indians, Columbus Day is not a typical holiday. We don’t celebrate 500 years of being dominated, exploited, enslaved and nearly exterminated by Europeans. But we do celebrate our survival.”
Update 10/11/14:
It’s all a lie.
History is being rewritten daily thanks to alternative media news sources bringing to light the mass propaganda of false history and disclosing truths hidden for decades and centuries.
My son’s 3rd grade class was discussing Columbus in class this week.  I pick him up each day to “deprogram” him from the public indoctrination system. When I asked him what he had learned about Mr. Columbus, he said that school taught that one of his ships had sunk off an island.  I said, “that’s it?” and he said “yes”.
I then looked at his homework and it included the Scholastic magazine which featured Columbus and sure enough, the article only said he had made it only to an island name Haiti. Over a dozen states no longer recognize Columbus Day, a creation of the Knights of Columbus back in 1934.
Even edgy Mainstream whorporate news is revising history now as truths become known as to the barbaric history of our country’s “founding” when we genocided over 97% of the Indian population in conquest and brought millions of slaves across the Atlantic to work in the cotton and tobacco fields of the wealthy with names like Jefferson, Washington, Adams, etc.
This is 24/7 Wall St.’s list of the richest U.S. presidents:
1. George Washington, first president from 1789 to 1797
— Net worth: $525 million In office
His Virginia plantation, Mount Vernon, consisted of five separate farms on 8,000 acres of prime farmland, run by more than 300 slaves. His wife, Martha Washington, inherited significant property from her father. Washington made well more than subsequent presidents: his salary was 2% of the total U.S. budget in 1789.
2. Thomas Jefferson, third president from 1801 to 1809
— Net worth: $212 million
Jefferson was left 3,000 acres and several dozen slaves by his father. Monticello, his home on a 5,000-acre plantation in Virginia, was one of the architectural wonders of its time. He made considerable money in various political positions before becoming president, but was mired in debt towards the end of his life.
3. James Madison, fourth president from 1809 to 1817
— Net worth: $101 million
Madison was the largest landowner in Orange County, Va. His land holding consisted of 5,000 acres and the Montpelier estate. He made significant wealth as Secretary of State and president. Madison lost money at the end of his life due to the steady financial collapse of his plantation.
Additionally, all these men had slaves, even until death. In fact, Thomas Jefferson pledged his slaves as assets upon his death against the massive debt he had incurred.  (source)
Now these richest of the new country land baron’s of the time were really interested in freedom for all of We the People as they pushed natives into reservations on the worst land possible and took slaves willingly to run their business’?
When they were done with the “most important document in history”, the U.S. Constitution, they gave rights to only 7% of the population; White, Male and Puritan land owners. It took 75 years later for minorities to even get the right to vote and 120 years for women and now corporations of the wealthy run this country.
The truth is the barbaric ways of old Europe just morphed into new overlords who broke away from the King and Church to form their own Kingdoms and used deception and fraud to sell it to the masses.
My country ’tis of thee…
It may sound a little over the top but it’s really no overstatement to say that much in our modern world is based on falsehood and fabrication. We are told, for example, that Columbus ‘discovered’ America in 1492, yet there is plenty of evidence to suggest that others had visited America before Columbus: including visitors from ancient Egypt, Phoenicia and medieval Europe. Despite this modern authorities continue to push the line that “Columbus discovered America.”
In point of fact Columbus himself never even set eyes upon America; the closest he got to the mainland of North America was Puerto Rica. However in the aftermath of Columbus’s voyage John Cabot sailed from Bristol, England; which in turn opened the way for the first colony in Jamestown, Virginia and thus allowed the English to claim America as their own. Yet there is considerable evidence that suggests that others from different cultures preceded Cabot and Columbus. So one is forced to ask: why, when there is much to suggest that others from different cultures preceded Columbus, don’t we hear more about this possibility being investigated? Could it be that certain powers have a vested interest in keeping our real history under wraps?
Whatever the answer the fact remains that a great deal has been unearthed which is completely at odds with conventional notions regarding the origins of what we know today as America. In fact according to some contemporary authorities, the Native Americans encountered by the early settlers from England were not what they appeared to be. They were indeed native to the Americas but they were not its original inhabitants, who according to various tribal legends, had disappeared eons before in a series of cataclysms.
Columbus Day? True Legacy: Cruelty and Slavery
Once again, it’s time to celebrate Columbus Day. Yet, the stunning truth is: If Christopher Columbuswere alive today, he would be put on trial for crimes against humanity. Columbus‘ reign of terror, as documented by noted historians, was so bloody, his legacy so unspeakably cruel, that Columbus makes a modern villain like Saddam Hussein look like a pale codfish.
Question: Why do we honor a man who, if he were alive today, would almost certainly be sitting on Death Row awaiting execution?
If you’d like to know the true story about Christopher Columbus, please read on. But I warn you, it’s not for the faint of heart.
Here’s the basics. On the second Monday in October each year, we celebrate Columbus Day (this year, it’s on October 11th). We teach our school kids a cute little song that goes: “In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue.” It’s an American tradition, as American as pizza pie. Or is it? Surprisingly, the true story of Christopher Columbus has very little in common with the myth we all learned in school.
Columbus Day, as we know it in the United States, was invented by the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic fraternal service organization. Back in the 1930s, they were looking for a Catholic hero as a role-model their kids could look up to. In 1934, as a result of lobbying by the Knights of Columbus, Congress and President Franklin Roosevelt signed Columbus Day into law as a federal holiday to honor this courageous explorer. Or so we thought.
There are several problems with this. First of all, Columbus wasn’t the first European to discover America. As we all know, the Viking, Leif Ericson probably founded a Norse village on Newfoundland some 500 years earlier. So, hat’s off to Leif. But if you think about it, the whole concept of discovering America is, well, arrogant. After all, the Native Americans discovered North America about 14,000 years before Columbus was even born! Surprisingly, DNA evidence now suggests that courageous Polynesian adventurers sailed dugout canoes across the Pacific and settled in South America long before the Vikings.
Second, Columbus wasn’t a hero. When he set foot on that sandy beach in the Bahamas on October 12, 1492, Columbus discovered that the islands were inhabited by friendly, peaceful people called the Lucayans, Taínos and Arawaks. Writing in his diary, Columbus said they were a handsome, smart and kind people. He noted that the gentle Arawaks were remarkable for their hospitality. “They offered to share with anyone and when you ask for something, they never say no,” he said. The Arawaks had no weapons; their society had neither criminals, prisons nor prisoners. They were so kind-hearted thatColumbus noted in his diary that on the day the Santa Maria was shipwrecked, the Arawaks labored for hours to save his crew and cargo. The native people were so honest that not one thing was missing.
Columbus was so impressed with the hard work of these gentle islanders, that he immediately seized their land for Spain and enslaved them to work in his brutal gold mines. Within only two years, 125,000 (half of the population) of the original natives on the island were dead.
Shockingly, Columbus supervised the selling of native girls into sexual slavery. Young girls of the ages 9 to 10 were the most desired by his men. In 1500, Columbus casually wrote about it in his log. He said: “A hundred castellanoes are as easily obtained for a woman as for a farm, and it is very general and there are plenty of dealers who go about looking for girls; those from nine to ten are now in demand.”
He forced these peaceful natives work in his gold mines until they died of exhaustion. If an “Indian” worker did not deliver his full quota of gold dust by Columbus‘ deadline, soldiers would cut off the man’s hands and tie them around his neck to send a message. Slavery was so intolerable for these sweet, gentle island people that at one point, 100 of them committed mass suicide. Catholic law forbade the enslavement of Christians, but Columbus solved this problem. He simply refused to baptize the native people of Hispaniola.
On his second trip to the New World, Columbus brought cannons and attack dogs. If a native resisted slavery, he would cut off a nose or an ear. If slaves tried to escape, Columbus had them burned alive. Other times, he sent attack dogs to hunt them down, and the dogs would tear off the arms and legs of the screaming natives while they were still alive. If the Spaniards ran short of meat to feed the dogs, Arawak babies were killed for dog food.
Columbus‘ acts of cruelty were so unspeakable and so legendary – even in his own day – that GovernorFrancisco De Bobadilla arrested Columbus and his two brothers, slapped them into chains, and shipped them off to Spain to answer for their crimes against the Arawaks. But the King and Queen of Spain, their treasury filling up with gold, pardoned Columbus and let him go free.

To be sure, the real annihilations did not start until the beginning of Columbus‘ second voyage to the Americas in 1493 (1).  For while he had expressed admiration for the overall  generosity of Indigenous People (1) and considered the Tainos to be “Very handsome, gentle, and friendly,” he interpreted all these positive traits as signs of weakness and vulnerability, saying “if devout religious persons knew the Indian Language well, all these people would soon become Christians (3).” As a consequence, he kidnapped some of the Tainos and took them back to Spain.
On his second voyage, in December 1494, Columbus captured 1,500 Tainos on the island of Hispaniola and herded them to Isabela, where 550 of ”the best males and females” were forced aboard ships bound for the slave markets of Seville.
Under Columbus‘s leadership, the Spanish attacked the Taino, sparing neither men, women nor children. Warfare, forced labor, starvation and disease reduced Hispaniola’s Taino population (estimated at one million to two million in 1492) to extinction within 30 years.
Furthermore, Columbus wrote a letter to the Spanish governor of the island, Hispaniola. Columbusasked the governor the cut off the ears and the noses of any of the slaves who resisted being subjugated to slavery.
…It is estimated that 100 million Indians from the Caribbean, Central, South, and North America perished at the hands of the European invaders. Sadly, unbelievably, really, much of that wholesale destruction was sanctioned and carried out by the Roman Catholic Church and various Protestant denominations. (1: p.37)
One of Columbus‘ men, Bartolome De Las Casas, was so mortified by Columbus‘ brutal atrocities against the native peoples, that he quit working for Columbus and became a Catholic priest. He described how the Spaniards under Columbus‘ command cut off the legs of children who ran from them, to test the sharpness of their blades. According to De Las Casas, the men made bets as to who, with one sweep of his sword, could cut a person in half. He says that Columbus‘ men poured people full of boiling soap. In a single day, De Las Casas was an eye witness as the Spanish soldiers dismembered, beheaded, or raped 3000 native people. “Such inhumanities and barbarisms were committed in my sight as no age can parallel,” De Las Casas wrote. “My eyes have seen these acts so foreign to human nature that now I tremble as I write.”
De Las Casas spent the rest of his life trying to protect the helpless native people. But after a while, there were no more natives to protect. Experts generally agree that before 1492, the population on the island of Hispaniola probably numbered above 3 million. Within 20 years of Spanish arrival, it was reduced to only 60,000. Within 50 years, not a single original native inhabitant could be found.
IN 1492; Columbus Day Poem Taught to U.S. School Children

In fourteen hundred ninety-two
Columbus sailed the ocean blue.

He had three ships and left from Spain;
He sailed through sunshine, wind and rain.

He sailed by night; he sailed by day;
He used the stars to find his way.

A compass also helped him know
How to find the way to go.

Ninety sailors were on board;
Some men worked while others snored.

Then the workers went to sleep;
And others watched the ocean deep.

Day after day they looked for land;
They dreamed of trees and rocks and sand.

October 12 their dream came true,
You never saw a happier crew!

“Indians!  Indians!”  Columbus cried;
His heart was filled with joyful pride.

But “India” the land was not;
It was the Bahamas, and it was hot.

The Arakawa natives were very nice;
They gave the sailors food and spice.

Columbus sailed on to find some gold
To bring back home, as he’d been told.

He made the trip again and again,
Trading gold to bring to Spain.

The first American?  No, not quite.
But Columbus was brave, and he was bright.

Conventional History

Columbus Day first became an official state holiday in Colorado in 1906, and became a federal holidayin the United States in 1937, though people have celebrated Columbus‘ voyage since the colonial period. In 1792, New York City and other U.S. cities celebrated the 300th anniversary of his landing in the New World. President Benjamin Harrison called upon the people of the United States to celebrateColumbus Day on the 400th anniversary of the event. During the four hundredth anniversary in 1892, teachers, preachers, poets and politicians used Columbus Day rituals to teach ideals of patriotism. These patriotic rituals were framed around themes such as support for war, citizenship boundaries, the importance of loyalty to the nation, and celebrating social progress.[1][2]
Catholic immigration in the mid-19th century induced discrimination from anti-immigrant activists. Like many other immigrant communities, Catholics developed organizations to fight discrimination and provide insurance for the struggling immigrants. One such organization, the Knights of Columbus, chose that name in part because it saw Christopher Columbus as a fitting symbol of Catholic immigrants’ right to citizenship: one of their own, a fellow Catholic, had discovered America.[1]
Many Italian-Americans observe Columbus Day as a celebration of their heritage, the first occasion being in New York City on October 12, 1866.[3] Columbus Day was first popularized as a holiday in the United States through the lobbying of Angelo Noce, a first generation Italian, in Denver. The first official, regular Columbus Day holiday was proclaimed by Colorado governor Jesse F. McDonald in 1905 and made a statutory holiday in 1907.[4] In April 1934, as a result of lobbying by the Knights ofColumbus, Congress and President Franklin Delano Roosevelt made October 12 a federal holiday under the name Columbus Day.[4][5]
A Significant movement is spreading to rename this day ‘Indigenous People’s Day’.  It could/would begin the healing to right the wrongs done to so many by the Conquistador’s of white  European Man, of which most are of our ancestral heritages. Petition here.
Indigenous Natives lived with the land, air and waterways for thousands and thousands of years and never thought to own or despoil their Mother’s and Father’s who gave Life to all.
Today, we are losing 200 species a day, globally, many waterways in the U.S.,  like the Navarro River where I live, no longer have salmon and trout come up the river or like the halibut, snapper, rock fish, salmon, etc. that are fished out along the West Coast.
What a huge step it would be for this country if we could begin to ask forgiveness, make reparations and put these proud Natives in places of leadership to teach us how to be good stewards and hold deep reverence and respect for Nature so that she may heal and provide for the next seven generations to come.

Columbus Day, a day that our government has deemed worthy of remembrance. But with all due respect—with all due respect—with all due respect, there’s an ugly truth that has been overlooked for way too long. Columbus committed heinous crimes against the indigenous peoples of the Caribbean and millions of natives throughout the Americas. And Columbus set the stage for the slave trade in the New World. So, please, please reconsider if this is a man you want to honor. Reconsider if you want to celebrate the crimes of Columbus. It’s not your fault; it happened a long time ago. But remaining neutral and pretending like it didn’t happen, or that it doesn’t still impact us today? So, please, take the day to learn the whole story.

Righting the Great Wrong: Happy ‘Native Indigenous People’s Day

(For christsakes, the guy C.C. thought he was in INDIA or so the story goes)!  He then found the indigenous people so giving, he went back to get 14 more galleon ships to steal, pillage, rape and conquer the peaceful people throughout the Carribean, South and North America’s.  For an excellent overview of the plight of the ‘loser’s’ to American hegemony over the centuries read Howard Zinn’s ‘The People’s History, as told by those that suffered at the hands of the invaders. here)
As the nation commemorates the arrival of Christopher Columbus to the so-called “New World” in 1492, indigenous activists at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, are pushing for schools to teach the “real history of the Americas” and to celebrate indigenous culture. “Columbus Day” has long evoked sadness and anger amongst people of color, especially Native Americans, who object to honoring a man who opened the door to European colonization, the exploitation of native peoples, and the slave trade. We’re joined by three guests involved with the “Real History of the Americas” day: Esther Belin, a writing instructor at Fort Lewis College and a member of the Navajo Nation; Shirena Trujillo Long, coordinator of El Centro de Muchos Colores at Fort Lewis College and chair of the the Real History of the Americas Committee; and student activist Noel Altaha, a member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe and Fort Lewis College senior.

“The official story that Christopher Columbus discovered the Americas is ludicrous. A few miles from Edinburgh in Scotland today still stands Rosslyn Chapel, that holy grail of the Brotherhood Elite. It was built in the shape of a Templar cross by the St Clair-Sinclair family and is a mass of esoteric symbolism. The foundations were laid in 1446 and it was completed in the 1480s. How remarkable then that the stonework at Rosslyn includes depictions of sweetcorn and cacti which were only found in America and ChristopherColumbus did not ‘discover’ that continent until 1492! How could this be? There is, in fact, no mystery.Christopher Columbus was not even nearly the first white person to land in the Americas. The Phoenicians, Norse, Irish, Welsh, Bretons, Basques and Portuguese, all sailed to America before him and so did Prince Henry Sinclair of Rosslyn, as documented in a rare book by Frederick I. Pohl called Prince Henry Sinclair’s Voyage To The New World 1398. Sinclair made the journey with another Brotherhood bloodline, the Zeno family, one of the most prominent Black Nobility families in Venice. Sinclair and Antonio Zeno landed in what we call Newfoundland and went ashore in Nova Scotia (New Scotland) in 1398 … The Brotherhood had known about the Americas for thousands of years and Christopher Columbus was used to make the official discovery so that the occupation of the Americas could begin.” –David Icke, “The Biggest Secret” 178-9
Columbus’ supporters were European royalty and the Templars. His father-in-law was a former Templar Knight and Catherine de Medici of the Illuminati bloodline (along with others) financed his voyage.Columbus’ three ships sailed under the Templars Red Cross flag, used today by the Red Cross and Switzerland. The royals also sent out fleets of conquistadors and swash-buckling pirates flying the Skull and Bones flag – their orders to rape, kill, and pillage all they could from the New World.
“The Skull and Bones cross used by the secret society comes from the pirate skull and cross bones. They weren’t just a bunch of swashbucklers like you’ve seen in the movies. No, these were agents sent onto the high seas by the British royal family to colonize the Americas.” -Michael Tsarion, “The Subversive Use of Sacred Symbolism in the Media” Lecture, Conspiracy Con 2003

Columbus sailed under the Knights Templar Flag for good reason.  He was representing their goals of conquest and acquisition.

A Little Matter of Genocide: Holocaust and Denial in the Americas 1492 to the Present
During the four centuries spanning the time between 1492, when Christopher Columbus first set foot on the ‘New World’ of a Caribbean beach and 1892, when the US Census Bureau concluded that there were fewer than a quarter-million indigenous people surviving within the country’s boundaries, a hemispheric population estimated to have been as great as 125 million was reduced by something over 90 percent. The people had died in their millions of being hacked apart with axes and swords, buried alive and trampled under horses, hunted as game and fed to dogs, shot, beaten, stabbed, scalped for bounty, hanged on meathooks and thrown over the sides of ships at sea, worked to death as slave laborers, intentionally starved and frozen to death during a multitude of forced marches and internments, and, in an unknown number of instances, deliberately infected with epidemic diseases. (p. 1)
Later in the book he gives a staggering estimate of the total who were ‘ethnically cleansed’: ‘All told, it is probable that more than one hundred million native people were ‘eliminated’ in the course of Europe’s ongoing ‘civilization’ of the western hemisphere.’(p. 86) (Emphasis added)
Although Ward Churchill has not written fully on the genocide against the Palestinians, he does place it within the global context of the present book, A Little Matter of Genocide, a book which leapt out at me from a display of books by and about native Americans in City Lights Book Store. The author is an enrolled Keetoowah Cherokee and Professor of American Indian Studies in the Department of Ethnic Studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder and has been a leader of the Colorado Chapter of the American Indian Movement since 1972. The title of the book is taken from a statement by Russell Means, founder of the American Indian Movement, who spoke of ‘a little matter of genocide right here at home,’ by which he meant the ongoing genocide against the American Indians which is still in progress.
Immediately upon its establishment in 1824, the Office of Indian Affairs was an instrument by which the United States enforced its ambition against the Indian nations. As the nation expanded West, the agency participated in the ethnic cleansing that befell the western tribes. War begets tragedy, but the deliberate spread of disease, the decimation of the bison herds, the use of alcohol to destroy mind and body, and the cowardly killing of women and children made for tragedy on a scale so ghastly that it cannot be dismissed as merely the inevitable consequence of the clash of competing ways of life. After the devastation of tribal economies, the BIA set out to destroy all things Indian by forbidding the speaking of Indian languages, prohibiting traditional religious activities, outlawing traditional government, and making Indians ashamed of who they were. Worst of all, the BIA committed these acts against the children entrusted to its boarding schools. The trauma of shame, fear, and anger has passed from one generation to the next, and manifests itself in the rampant alcoholism, drug abuse, and domestic violence that plague Indian country. The BIA expresses its profound sorrow for these wrongs, extends this formal apology to Indian people for its historical conduct, and makes promises for its future conduct. “
Canary Effect ` Full movie
The Canary Effect is a 2006 documentary that looks into the effects of that the United States and its policies have on the Indigenous peoples (Native Americans) who are residents.
It premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and won the Stanley Kubrick Award at the 2006 Traverse City Film Festival (Michael Moore hosts).
The movie was directed by Robin Davey and Yellow Thunder Woman, who are both members of LA Based alternative pop group The Bastard Fairies.
Delving deeply into the often misunderstood and frequently over looked historic realities of the American Indian, The Canary Effect follows the terrifying and horrific abuses instilled upon the Indigenous people of North America, and details the genocidal practices of the US government and its continuing affects on present day Indian country.
Featuring interviews with the leading scholars and experts on Indian issues including controversial author Ward Churchill, the film brings together the past and present in a way never before captured so eloquently and boldly on film.
Natives did not have built up immune systems like Euro-White man so they became easily susceptible to White Man’s diseases.

DENNIS BANKS: I was in the boarding schools when punishment was very severe if you ran away. This was during the early ’40s. I was taken to a boarding school when I was four years old, and taken away from my mother and my father, my grandparents, who I stayed with most of the time, and just abruptly taken away and then put into the boarding school, 300 miles away from our home. And, you know, the beatings began immediately, the—almost the de-Indianizing program. It was a terrible experience that the American government was experimenting with. And that was trying to destroy the culture and the person, destroy the Indian-ness in him and save the human being, save the—kill an Indian, save the man. That was, you know, the description of what this policy is about, about trying to—
AMY GOODMAN: Now, the government ran the schools?

There are many 'pillars of history' that are idolized by cultures today, but how much do we truly know about them? William Shakespeare is famous for his deeply occult and philosophic works, but when looking back in history to know the man, we find more data revealing he never existed at all and was probably a pen name for Francis Bacon

The Vatican, the Papal Bulls, between 1302 and 1537 claimed ownership of all living things, their bodies and souls on the Earth in perpetuity. Some researches state that this gave the Spanish Empire, whom was a vassal of the Vatican, the right to conquer other lands in the name of Spain, and Mother Church by proxy.

As a result of this westward expansion countless native peoples were enslaved under the guise of 'uplifting them' out of savagery and 'saving their souls for God'. With it came whole sale destruction of tribal traditions and knowledge dating back to the times of prehistory.

Related Pope 'Ruler of the World' to go after War Criminals?

Could the name Christopher Columbus be a pseudonym for the imperial pursuits of the Roman Catholic Church? The Etymology of this name may reveal some clues:
  1. The name Christopher is a Greek baby name. In Greek the meaning of the name Christopher is: From the Greek word meaning carrier of Christ, Famous bearer: St Christopher, patron Saint of travellers, is believed to have carried the Christ-child across a river.
  2. And Colombia meaning 'The goddess, mother, feminine aspect of god or Isis.'
  3. Within these occult interpretations, his name means 'one who bears the child of Christ (St.Peter) over the sea' ostensibly to the 'new world'. Another interpretation is the 'white dove of Christ. Given the nature of the Pope and Vatican, as claimants of the hosts of life on Earth, and tyrannical despots of the Black Sun Cult, it is reasonable to conclude the Americas were well known to the hidden powers of that day.

Our history is a great mystery enshrouded by a veil of easy to swallow 'facts' twisting the minds of the masses. One day this veil shall be lifted, and the limitations of our own minds will be expanded as we discover its deeper meanings.

The following 2 articles detail some little known data points regarding this enigmatic figure, suggesting there is far more to this story then what officialdom reveals.

(By Manly P. Hall) - Many scholars were fully aware of the global form of the Earth in the time of Columbus, who, according to early historians, State documents, and his own son, was not an Italian of humble station and uneducated but was a Greek Prince with an excellent classical education. It was from a Greek port that he sailed on the celebrated voyage of discovery. He was accompanied by a mysterious stranger, which has suggested that Columbus was an agent of the society of unknown philosophers.

As stated earlier, there can be little doubt that the Greeks were aware of the existence of the American continent long before the beginning of the Christian era. If information is not general on that point, it is equally surprising how little is known about the man Christopher Columbus who is accredited with the discovery of the new world. The date of his birth is unrecorded, and twenty cities claim Columbus as a native. So many legends have sprung up about this strange man that it is difficult to distinguish fact from fancy.

In 1937 a little book was published, entitled, Christopher Columbus Was A Greek. According to its author, Spyros Cateras, the real name of Columbus was Prince Nikolaos Ypsilantis, and he came from the Greek Island of Chios. The statement is backed by quotations from numerous early historians and State documents.

The author of this little book has documented his opinions in a manner to bring joy to the critical reader. He mentions the following Greeks who navigated the Atlantic ocean in ancient times: Hercules, Odyssus, Colaeus, Pytheus, and Eratosthenes. He points out that the language of the ancient Mayas of the American continent contains many words of pure Greek belonging to the Homeric period, and, to quote the book: "Years ago, in the republic of Uruguay, South America, were discovered traces of the army of Alexander the Great, swords and thoras with the inscription 'PTOLEMEOS ALEXANDROY'!".

All modern research on the life of Columbus tends to prove that he was not a man of humble station, poor or uneducated, and the story of Queen Isabella and her jewels is rapidly becoming recognizable as fiction. Columbus is emerging as a man of impressive personality with marked abilities as a leader and organizer and an excellent classical education.

Like most Greeks of his time he admired the writings of Plato and the other classical philosophers; he had the Greek birthright of legend and tradition, and was mentally well suited for interpretation of classical lore. There is much to indicate that Columbus was inspired for his voyages by Plato's account of the lost Atlantis and the records of early navigation to the West. Furthermore, Europe was not without some knowledge of geography and in his day there were many scholars aware of the spherical form of the Earth.

A great trade with Asia had long passed over the caravan routes of the Near East, as the Arabs for the most part were a friendly people; but with the rise of the Turkish Empire to power most of these routes were closed to the infidel. When even the Crusades failed to keep clear the roads of commerce, it became ever more desirable to discover a western passage to the Orient. It was for this purpose that Columbus sailed, and not from an Italian or Spanish port, but from the Greek port of Mahon.

It is astonishing how difficult it is to ascertain the facts about the celebrated voyage of discovery and the life of one so prominent in history as Christopher Columbus; it appears that history entered into a conspiracy to conceal the truth. Possibly an elaborate misrepresentation was intentional, for certainly the confusion began before the death of Columbus. His own son refers to his father as a Greek. It has been suggested that Columbus changed his name because of religious or political pressure, but this is in the field of conjecture.

Then too, in browsing about among old records I have run across a dim figure involved in the life of Columbus, a strange man who seems to have served the explorer in die capacity of counselor. Nothing very tangible has as yet come to light, but it is hinted that this mysterious person accompanied Columbus on his first voyage. He was not included in the list of the mariners. He did not return, but remained in the West Indies; beyond this, no further mention is made of him.

This mysterious stranger is reminiscent of the black-robed man who guided the destiny of Mohammed. Were these obscure figures ambassadors of the "Secret Government"? - Columbus being one of the agents through which the society of unknown philosophers accomplished its purposes?

It is my opinion that he was such an agent. The signature of Columbus, composed of letters curiously arranged and combined with cabalistic designs, certainly conveys far more than is inherent in the signature of a private citizen.

The importance of Columbus in the larger scheme of things is to be estimated from his relationship to the pattern of his own time. Europe, passing from the obscuration of the medieval period, was coming into the light of the modern way of life; the motion of the Renaissance had spread like ever widening ripples over the surface of a stagnant pool. Printing had been discovered; the mental emancipation of man from the tyranny of ignorance, superstition, and fear was gradually being accomplished. The democratic ideal was beginning to assert itself over the tyranny of decadent aristocracy.

As the mental horizon broadened, the physical horizon extended also. The Crusades had broken up the structure of feudalism. Principalities were forming themselves into nations, and the tribal consciousness was disappearing from the theater of European politics. This progress was opposed at each step by vested interests. But the human mind was becoming aware of its own powers, in a motion of continuing irresistible force. A new world was necessary for a new idea. When it was necessary it was discovered. That which is needed is always near if man has the wit to find it.

Today we are again seeking for a new world. No longer do there remain undiscovered continents to serve us as laboratories for social experiments, so we are turning our attention to other kinds of worlds - worlds of thought, inner spheres which must yet be explored by daring navigators. Science in the last fifty years has discovered a new universe - the universe of the mind. The infant psychology has but to come of age for us to fully discover a new sphere for new exploration in the science of living.

The voyages of Columbus were followed by two centuries of enlarging our geographic knowledge of the Earth. Explorers who sailed the seven seas seeking wealth, brought home knowledge; it released human thought from its Mediterranean fixation and accomplished the still greater end of breaking the power of a Mediterranean theology and a Mediterranean way of life. Men began to think world thoughts, began to realize that while the whole Earth was one land divided into continents and oceans it still was a gigantic unity. Out of the global wanderings of stout sea captains in little wooden ships was developed our so-called global thinking of today.

The concept of a global world, at least in terms of geography, is now our common inheritance. After four hundred and fifty years we accept it without question, but mainly to toy with the belief that we will accomplish something in terms of ultimates if we can industrialize the entire planet. Our world is still too large for us to know how to use it. We have discovered much, but the greatest voyage still lies before us.

Our venture will be into that greater ocean that lies beyond the boundaries of the known. The new voyages will be made in laboratories, and the contrary currents will be the cosmic rays that move through the seas of universal ether.

This will require of each man that he make a long journey of discovery within himself, searching out the hidden places of his mind and heart. As Socrates so wisely observed, all mankind lives along the shore of an unknown land. This unexplored world abounds in wonders and is filled with riches beyond the wildest dreams of old Spanish conquistadores. In this land beyond the sea of doubt the wise men dwell together in shaded groves, and here, according to the old tradition, the scholar, the musician, the artist, and the poet - who makes the discoveries that science and philosophy must later prove - have already found the better way of life. Christopher Columbus sailed his little ships for a land which by the writings of ancient philosophers he knew existed. And each of us in the fulness of time will make our own voyage in search of a philosophically-charted better world - to follow the advice of Homer, to prepare our ships, unfurl our sails, and facing the unknown go forth upon the sea to find our own far distant native land.

Christopher Columbus and the New World
“We may fairly agree that the subject of history, as commonly taught, is one of the most boring of all subjects. However, the study of how the subject of history has been manipulated is surely one of the most interesting of all subjects.”
Michael Tsarion, “Astrotheology and Sidereal Mythology”
“The falsification of history has done more to mislead humans than any single thing known to mankind.”
JeanJacques Rousseau
“History is the lie commonly agreed upon.”
Our Rockefeller textbooks tell us that Christopher Columbus discovered America in 1492. The dictionary says “to discover” means “to learn something unknown,” but the tens of millions of indigenous “Indians” would certainly contest Columbus’ discovery of anything. Perhaps the occult meaning of “discovery” coincides with Columbus’ occult knowledge of exactly where he was going.

Perhaps the word discover, means just that:
“to take the lid off something that has been covered up.”

“The Phoenicians were not confined to the Mediterranean and the Middle East. They landed in Britain around 3,000 BC and unmistakable Phoenician artifacts have been found in Brazil, as well as possible Egyptian remains in the Grand Canyon in America. The Phoenicians landed in the Americas thousands of years before the manufactured ‘photo opportunity’ better known as the journey of Christopher Columbus.
The reason that the native legends of the Americas speak of tall ‘white gods’ coming from the sea bringing advanced knowledge is because that is precisely what happened, if you forget the gods bit.”
David Icke, “The Biggest Secret” (63)
When critics objected saying Columbus’ mission was impossible, he often countered those objections saying he “might discover some very beneficial island or continent about 750 leagues to the west.” At this point the ships would be able to restock on food/supplies and continue on towards Asia.

Then low and behold Columbus discovered a “very beneficial continent” precisely 750 leagues to the west.
“In the agreements signed on April 17th, 1492, (The Capitulo) and on April 30th, 1492, (The Titulo) the strange fact is that more attention is given to the rulership and jurisdiction of problematical lands that might be discovered en route than to a division of spoils from wealthy Asia.”
Alex Christopher, “Pandora’s Box – The Ultimate Unseen Hand Behind the New World Order,” (42)
In Scotland's Knights Templar Rosslyn Chapel, there are clear depictions of corn and aloe cactus found on the archways and ceiling. These plants were officially discovered in America and first brought to Europe in the 16th century.

How then did the Masons building Rosslyn Chapel, completed in 1486, know about these plants at least 6 years before Columbus set sail?
“The official story that Christopher Columbus discovered the Americas is ludicrous. A few miles from Edinburgh in Scotland today still stands Rosslyn Chapel, that holy grail of the Brotherhood Elite. It was built in the shape of a Templar cross by the St Clair-Sinclair family and is a mass of esoteric symbolism. The foundations were laid in 1446 and it was completed in the 1480s. How remarkable then that the stonework at Rosslyn includes depictions of sweet corn and cacti which were only found in America and Christopher Columbus did not ‘discover’ that continent until 1492! How could this be?

There is, in fact, no mystery. Christopher Columbus was not even nearly the first white person to land in the Americas.

Sinclair and Antonio Zeno landed in what we call Newfoundland and went ashore in Nova Scotia (New Scotland) in 1398 … The Brotherhood had known about the Americas for thousands of years and Christopher Columbus was used to make the official discovery so that the occupation of the Americas could begin.”
–David Icke, “The Biggest Secret” 1789
Columbus’ supporters were European royalty and the Templars.
His father-in-law was a former Templar Knight and Catherine de Medici of the Illuminati bloodline (along with others) financed his voyage. Columbus’ three ships sailed under the Templars Red Cross flag, used today by the Red Cross and Switzerland.

The royals also sent out fleets of conquistadors and swashbuckling pirates flying the Skull and Bones flag their orders to rape, kill, and pillage all they could from the New World.
“The Skull and Bones cross used by the secret society comes from the pirate skull and cross bones. They weren’t just a bunch of swashbucklers like you’ve seen in the movies. No, these were agents sent onto the high seas by the British royal family to colonize the Americas.”
Michael Tsarion, “The Subversive Use of Sacred Symbolism in the Media” Lecture, Conspiracy Con 2003
The Knights of Columbus third degree emblem is a “fasces,” the fascist symbol overlaying a Nazi Iron Cross in black, red and white just as in Hitler’s Germany.

The “fasces” fascist symbol is an axe supported by bundled reeds representing the power of the many when bound to one ideal. Disturbingly the fasces is also found at US Senate, the Colorado seal, and the dime. The Knights of Columbus seem to be a philanthropic male fraternity, so why all the Nazi symbolism?
