The Illusion of Time and why it is so Important - Time is Not For Wasting by Manly P. Hall

"Time is an Illusion" - a popular meme or philosophy being disseminated, and accepted by most awakening people. Many assume, because Time is an Illusion, we need not worry about wasting it, but this is an erroneous conclusion.

The concept of Time as an Illusion has a great deal of factual basis to it. Dewey Larson's RS theory, clearly states that Time and Space are reciprocal to each other, controlled by what he calls Sector 3, where consciousness in its primal state exercise a degree of control over the time-space creation. Heart Math institute's research reveals we are capable of precognition of events before they happen. Images projected on to a screen at 5 second intervals, stimulate emotional reactions in a subject. The subject's heart begins to react 3 seconds prior to the images being shown. Finally, within Natural Law, there is the concept of time and space being illusory; a dream within the mind of god or the ALL.

But do these data points provide us with a justification to deny the effect of time within the illusion, or the reality of Earth? I premise: Time and Attention are instrumental to nearly everything we experience; an integral part of our Spiritual Evolution

Mark Passio share's a powerful concept of time being: a true spiritual currency. Currency meaning flow or energy in motion.

If we analyze our experience, there are two major points which offer evidence that time is essential to everything we accomplish in life. In order to gain skill at playing an instrument it takes practice. Practice is focusing one's attention on something for a period of time, enhancing one's abilities. Attention and Time are the two Spiritual Currencies, they augment our BEingness as a direct relation to our interaction with the Illusion. Everything we attribute to change, transformation, improvement, evolution, growth, development, etc, all have these two aspects at work. Attention and Time are inescapable facets of our reality.

As such, while we can recognize that time is an illusion - the idea has voracity - in order to effect change in our lives we must embrace the illusion. Imagine you are playing chess, an illusory game, attempting to improve your skills. If you cheat at the game, by going against the rules, you may win, but you will not gain any skill. You must play the game as it was designed in order gain value from it.

Time is an Illusion, but it is not for wasting. While we may use concepts like: being present in the NOW and not dwelling on the past to aide us, time and attention are always present.

Final note: there are many New Age ideas which have a basis in truth, but are misunderstood. "Everything is Perfect" is an example. The notion that we can ignore time because it is illusory is one such idea gaining popularity. We must be discerning and think critically about these deep truths in order for them to empower us, else they are half truths and lead to folly and disempowerment.

Manly P. Hall Drops Knowledge Bombs. Here are some key points and ideas I have summed from these Manly P. Hall’s Lectures.

Here I’ll share two of his fantastic lectures which dissect the human condition and the problem of killing of time that abounds in people and what to do about it.

Time measures opportunity.

Emotions must be properly nourished: Centered on creativity, compassion and service.

Simple emotions of human relations are needed.

Suppression of beauty is desperately detrimental.

Envy, Jealousy begins in childhood and can go on to the grave. We are to transmute and change this.

What we are here for:
We have to control the body we have.
We must be able To control and Direct the rational life. To make it beautiful.

Kindness = Rewards
Criticism = Numerous Penalties.

We must redirect our emotional resources, to handle it constructively.

Modern entertainment has it wrong by pushing fear, hatred, etc.

TV should only be watched if it is constructive.

Emotion searches for the beautiful.

Beauty is a tremendous and important ingredient of life.

We should live with dignity, gentility. So our relationships are polite and so we can do things graciously.

We are here to gain insights not into the commercial.

We must discipline our thinking.

The mind is here to gain insights of study and life of mankind.

The mind is essential for progress.

The mind can have junk-food just as the body.

The mind must discover the validity of existence.

It’s the right of all to correct mistakes, even it is socially.

If there’s a better a way of life, we should live it.

On our spiritual side

On man’s spiritual nature. Materialists are beginning to suspect this spiritual nature.

Individual will not do better until he realizes there is a ” better.”

The Spiritual tone gives faith and the divine plan of things.

All nations have had scriptures, where the creator can be explored.

Destiny involves a divine power within oneself.

The Human is here to find a direct purpose to carry on through out eternity.

Faith can redeem the individual.

Time is the opportunity for the ripening of reality.

Time is an orienting factor.

History shows us the purpose behind life.

Through history we learn the causes of war, politics, misuse of power, understanding of groups of people who learn nothing.

No one should end life without a sense of achievement.

Few people pass on convinced as far they could have achieved.

One must earn time to have time.

People only want fun and alcohol, disciplined leisure is resented. They feel they bought the time to do what they please. But it doesn’t work. You don’t find happiness here.

Every thought can lead to wisdom, every emotion can lead to wisdom.

Why should we aspire to be better? The problem of growing is that it’s fulfilling. Nothing is solved by achieving solutions.

We must transmute Suffering (Emotional) into soul power (Through the creative spirit).
