Can you feel the Compersion? Abandoned dog bonds with paralyzed cat in Unconditional Love - Now they are Inseparable!

A little dose of Compersion for yah today! Compersion, is the ability to feel joy by observing the joy in another. This concept is coming into focus more and more now but how do we help enable this process?

I think we can feel happy more and more in life, regardless of the situation, by looking at the experience with a holistic point of view. Now that usually means exposing internal blockages and this can cause all sorts of emotional reactions. But once we process them fully, we usually end up with an expanded perspective, enabling us to be more unconditionally loving; experiencing more joy in our daily lives.

Abandoned dog bonds with paralyzed cat

We’d like to introduce you to Ruth and Idgie, a paralyzed cat and protective dachshund who are setting new records in adorability together.

Ruth and Idgie were found about three months ago, abandoned at the end of a driveway in Osteen, Florida, according to The Orlando Sentinel. The pair, named after characters from “Fried Green Tomatoes,” were brought to Animal Control and eventually taken in by Hollywood Houndz Boutique & Spa in Lake Mary, Florida, according to WFLX.

Now they’re simply inseparable, as captured in the Sentinel video above. In fact, the friends are so close that when Idgie gets a new dog toy, the first thing she’ll do is bring it over to Ruth.

As the story of their unlikely friendship has spread quickly online, Ruth and Idgie have become a pair of minor celebrities. They often get visitors eager to see them in person, give them gifts or simply pet them, says Jacqueline Borum, an operating partner of Hollywood Houndz, in the video above.
